Limited One-Year Warranty

Cautions and Notes

Using the Digital Voltage Meter

The supplied voltage meter is used to check your vehicle’s battery voltage and charging voltage.

1. Connect the supplied adapter to your vehicle’s cigarette light adapter.

2. Connect the other end to the unit’s 12V DC PLUG. The DC POWER LED flashes continuously.

3. For battery voltage, check the reading one hour after turning your car engine off. For charging voltage, read the unit while your car’s

engine and main beam are turned on.

the current or charging voltage is less than 11.6V.

the current or charging voltage is between 11.7V and 12.4V.

the current or charging voltage is between 12.5V and 12.9V.

the current or charging voltage is 13.0V or greater.

Keep the thermometer dry; if it gets wet, wipe it
dry immediately. Handle the thermometer care-
fully; do not drop it. Keep the thermometer away
from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp cloth
occasionally to keep it looking new.

• Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly.

• Do not burn or bury batteries.

• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.

• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard,

alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different
capacities.

• If you do not plan to use the thermometer for a month or more, remove

the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic
parts.

• Do not attach the thermometer to a surface that can get extremely hot,

like the dashboard of a car.

• Do not mount the thermometer or sensor where they will be in direct

sunlight.

• Do not place the thermometer in water, or in a location where it is likely

to get wet. Only the sensor and its cord are water-resistant.

• When mounting the sensor on a vehicle's windshield, be sure to place it

out of the windshield wipers' path to avoid damaging the sensor.
