PREPARATION

INSTALLING A BATTERY

Your alarm requires one 9-volt battery (not
supplied) for power. For the best perfor-
mance and longest life, we recommend an
alkaline battery, such as RadioShack Cat.
No. 23-553.

Cautions: Use only a fresh battery of the
required size and type.

Follow these steps to install the battery.
