INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing a RadioShack 5.8
GHz Multi Handset Expandable Cordless
Telephone. Unlike other conventional
cordless telephones, your telephone
supports up to ten handsets on a single
telephone line. You can add a handset to
any room in your home or office that has an
AC outlet. No more running to the other end
of the house to answer the phone! You can
transfer outside calls to other handsets. If
you subscribe to Call Waiting with Caller ID,
the phone shows you the incoming caller
information, even when you are already
talking on the phone.
Cordless phones require AC power to
operate. When the power is off, you cannot
make or receive calls by using your phone.
You should also have a phone that does not
need AC power to operate (not a cordless
phone), so you can still make and receive
calls if there is an AC power failure.
