• Never use the charger as a DC power
source for any electrical equipment.
OPERATION
General Charging Guidelines
• Completely discharge Ni-Cd batteries
before you charge them. Repeated par-
tial discharging and recharging can
shorten their useful life. This does not
apply to Ni-MH batteries.
• It is normal for batteries to become warm
while charging.
• Batteries in the charger at the same time
must be of the same type (Ni-Cd or Ni-
MH) and capacity (standard or high-
capacity).
• The charger has two channels. Both the
left and right channels have two positions
for AAA and two positions for AA batter-
