Caution: Using a fuse that does not meet these rat-
ings or defeating the fuse protection can damage
your detector, the power cord, or the vehicle’s elec-
trical system.
4. Replace the metal tip inside the ring, make sure the
spring is in place, then place the fuse inside the cig-
arette-lighter plug and firmly screw the ring back
onto the plug.
Caution: Never use pliers or other tools to retighten
the ring on the cigarette-lighter plug.
