USING THE QUIET 
FEATURE

The quiet feature eliminates inter-
ference from other radios which are
not tuned to the same channel and
quiet code as your radio. When you
set a quiet code (1–38) and turn on
this feature, you can only communi-
cate with users who have a radio set
to the same channel and code as
your radio.
