Using Long Period Alert (LPA)
Your pager is preset to alert for 8 seconds then stop,
each time you receive a new message (see “Receiv-
ing and Reading Messages” on Page 12). However,
you can set the pager to briefly alert every 2 minutes
(up to 12 hours) until you read all new messages.
To turn long period alert on or off, press and hold the
power switch until
[
LPA
]
appears. When you re-
lease the switch, the pager beeps once and the long
period alert symbol (
) appears or disappears.
