Installing Batteries
1. Remove the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the
radio by sliding it off in the direction of the arrow.
2. Install three AA batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols
(
+
and –) marked inside the compartment.
3. Replace the cover.
Warning: Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not bury
or burn them.
Caution: If you do not plan to use the radio for several weeks, re-
move the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy
electronic parts and circuits.
Note: When you turn on the radio, the power indicator flashes
slowly. If it flashes rapidly, the batteries may be low and your radio
may not operate properly. Replace the batteries.
