Using the Weatheradio’s ‘All Signals’
Code
Your Weatheradio is preset to use a default “all sig-
nals” code of 99, which lets it receive any weather
alert broadcast within the Weatheradio’s reception
range (about a 50-mile radius in most locations).
This code is preset in the Weatheradio’s first memo-
ry location.
To set the Weatheradio to respond only to specific
NWS FIPS codes you select, choose the codes (as
many as two) you want to program (see “Under-
standing FIPS Codes” on Page 9 and “Obtaining
Your Area’s FIPS Code(s)” on Page 11), then pro-
