7.5. Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The device will not
switch on • Ensure the power cable is firmly seated in the device AC input and the wall
socket.
The devices switches
itself off
• Ensure that the Timer function has not been activated.
• Ensure the power cable is firmly seated in the device AC input and the wall
socket.
Minimal airflow
• The pre-filter may need to be cleaned and the HEPA filter replaced .
• Ensure the device’s airflow intake or outlet are not obstructed.
• Consider increasing the fan speed.
The timer preset
does not work
• Ensure the Timer function has been correctly set for 3, 6, or 9 hours.
Unusual odor emitted
from device
• The pre-filter may be slightly damp. After cleaning, ensure the pre-filter is
completely dry before returning to the filter tray.
• The carbon filters may need to be replaced.
