9. Drawing in and fastening the belt

Plug the mains plug into the socket or switch on the

mains power.

There is a risk of injury from the reel.

◆

Never reach into the reel compartment when the

motor is running.

Press the [ Up ] key until the fastening hooks

is easily accessible in the reel compartment.

As no end points have been set yet, the drive will

stop as soon as you release the button.

Always switch the mains power off again before feeding

the belt into the top of the roller shutter belt winder.

◆

Continue to feed the belt into the device and subse-

quently slide the belt over the fastening hooks from

above.

Switch the mains power back on again.

◆

Press the [

] key until the belt has wound

completely once around the reel.

◆

Pull the belt tight when winding, so that the deflection

roller turns at the same time.

Finally remove the mains plug from the socket again

before replacing the reel compartment cover back onto

the reel compartment.
