Adding Elements to a Scene
There are currently 8 types of Element that can be displayed in the graphical overlay for the Video VBOX LITE:
• Video Picture-in-Picture
• Circular Gauge
• Single Bar Graph
• Double Bar Graph
• Track Map
• Text
• Static Label
• Static Image
Existing elements are added for the Elements tab, to create new scene elements see the elements section of this
document.
The Elements Tab
The Elements tab contains all of the controls related to the selection of the Elements
that can be displayed in a Scene for the Video VBOX LITE. The Elements tab consists of
the ‘Theme’ and ‘Element Type’ drop-down boxes and the Element preview window.
Theme Drop-Down
It is possible to assign a theme to a user defined element. This allows you to categorise elements
you have created by filtering the Element files by type e.g. ‘Classic’, ‘Retro’, ‘All’.
For example selecting the ‘Retro’ theme will show a graphical preview of all of the Gauges saved
under that theme.
Double clicking on an Element in the preview pane will add it to the current Scene.
Element Type Drop-Down
This is a dropdown menu listing the different types of Element it is possible to add to the
Scene e.g. Gauge, Image, Picture-In-Picture etc. Once an Element category has been chosen
all available Elements under the selected category will become visible as thumbnails in the
Browser Window.
Double clicking on the desired Element in the Element Browser Window will add the
Element to the current Scene.
It is possible to add as many elements to the scene as required but the scene should not
exceed 10 MB.
By pressing the delete key or right clicking on the element and selecting delete it is possible to remove the Element
from the current Scene.
