RAC Black Box telematics device installation
1. Turn the vehicle’s ignition off
2. Locate the vehicle’s OBD port. This information can be found in the vehicle’s
operating manual. Alternatively, you can use Trakm8’s OBD online checker:
www.trakm8.com/install
3. Install your RAC Black Box telematics device in your OBD port by pressing
firmly until the unit is securely fitted in place
4. We’ll send you an email to confirm the installation was successful and
we’re receiving data from your RAC Black Box telematics device.
This may take up to 24hrs to show in your RAC Black Box App.
