2 - Description of the machine and its appropriate use.

The mill grader (power harrow) mod. MT – MTL – MThi – MTLhi is a mechanic machine that
applied to all types of walking tractors or small tractors with flange attachement of 8-10 HP, 10-12
HP, 12-14 HP mills, levels and compresses the soil in a single operation. As it can be seen from
the illustration (Fig. 2) the mill grader mod. MT – MTL – MThi – MTLhi is equipped with a central
body (power harrow) for the soil refining , of a scraper for the soil levelling and of a special mesh
roller to adjust the working depth and the soil compaction .The power harrow mod. MT – MTL –
MThi – MTLhi is used in the preparation of the soil for fields, gardens, sporting facilities and
vegetables.
The power harrows mod. MT – MTL – MThi – MTLhi are designed to be applied
exclusively to professional CE-certified* drive equipments (two-wheel tractors and small
tractors** with flange attachment) with suitable power. The purpose of the power harrow
is exclusively to work the soil.
Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous. If at any time the power harrow
mod. MT – MTL – MThi - MTLhi might be used in different ways and/or for purposes other than
those described in this manual, the manufacturer declines any liability for damages to persons
and/or property of any kind.
Before assembling the machine to the two-wheel tractor, before using the machine and before any
maintenance operation on it, read and follow carefully the instructions given in this manual as well
as in the operator’s manual of the two-wheel tractor which will be connected with the machine.
The proper use of the power harrow also involves the adhering to the following points:
-The respect of the rules of use and maintenance established by the manufacturer and gathered in
this manual.
-the exclusive use of spare parts and original R2 accessories.
The machine must be used, maintained and repaired only by competent staff.
The qualified staff enabled to use the machine must be properly trained and informed of the proper
use of the equipment and the risks that could be run.
The user is required to comply with the rules and existing Legislation relating to fire prevention,
safety at work and traffic in public roads.
* Certification for the European Market.
** From now on, if not specified, the term “two-wheel tractor” (or “walking tractor”) will also indicate the term “tractor”.
