CASE B - Should the new frequency fall outside the range of receiver's
R.F. Power Amplifier Stage (and relative receiver's Front-End/
Mixer)
CASE A
Should the new frequency fall within the range of receiver's R.F. Power
Amplifier Stage (and relative receiver's Front-End/Mixer), the following
procedure should be carried out:
TRANSMITTER
1) Select the new frequency with the UP and DOWN buttons and confirm
it with the ENTER key.
RECEIVER
1) Select the new frequency with the UP (14 Fig.1) and DOWN (12 Fig.1)
buttons and confirm it with the ENTER (13 Fig.1) key.
2) Select the SIGNAL measurement using the selector of analogic
meter and confirmed by the corresponding green led.
3) Calibrate the R.F. Cavity, situated on the receiver, for the maximum
R.F. signal, checking against the corresponding reading on the
receiver’s meter (maximum R.F. signal displayable = -47dBm).
CASE B
Should the new frequency fall outside the range of receiver's R.F. Power
Amplifier Stage (and relative receiver's Front-End/Mixer), it's necessary
that this procedure should only be carried out by factory, in that errors can
cause serious damage to equipment and will automatically nullify the warranty.
6.7 TRANSMITTER AUDIO DEVIATION AND DISTORTION FIGURES
To make this measurement, configure the unit according to SETUP D (Fig.12)
and carry out the following procedure:
1) Adjust the signal generator for a signal level of -10dBm (0dBm for
American versions) at the MONO and STEREO inputs.
