Limitations
Video only
The interface inserts ONLY video signals into the infotainment.
For audio insertion a factory audio-AUX input or FM-modulator
is required. For AUX option coding we offer OBD-N45-X-01.
Factory media interface
If available, its AUX cable with 3.5mm jack (available at MB), can
be used for audio insertion. While used for audio insertion, the
Apple adapter or USB adapter cannot be used simultaneously.
Factory rear-view camera
Automatic switch-back from inserted video to factory rear-view
camera only while reverse gear is engaged. To delay the switch-
back time, additional electronics is required.
PDC and guidelines
If the video interface does not receive the required information
from the vehicle CAN-bus, neither guide-lines nor optical PDC
display will be supported.
