Caution –
Two people are needed to lift and move the enclosure. Use care to avoid
injury. An enclosure with all drives installed can weigh 65 pounds (29.5 kilograms).
Caution –
Electrostatic discharge can damage sensitive components. Be sure you
are properly grounded before touching a static-sensitive component or assembly.
Installation Checklist
Table 2-1 outlines the steps required to install and initially configure the system. To
ensure a successful installation, perform the tasks in the order they are presented.
