Disposal Information
European Union (EU) Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE).
Products sold in EU countries must be labeled with a crossed-out wheeled waste bin (or, in
individual cases, this must be marked on the packaging).
Users are responsible for the proper disposal of the RIDA®QUICK SCAN II at the end of its
life cycle. For disposal, please adhere to the applicable national regulations.
The WEEE Directive defines that customers and end users in EU countries (EU) must not
dispose of electrical or electronic devices and electrical or electronic accessories in the
household waste. Within the EU, please contact your local representative or your supplier’s
customer service representative who can provide you with information about the disposal
or collection of old devices.
We also recommend having the electromagnetic environment assessed before the
RIDA®QUICK SCAN II is put into operation. When these measures are observed,
the device does not pose any risk.
Warning: Do not use the RIDA®QUICK SCAN II in the vicinity of sources of strong
electromagnetic radiation as they can interfere with proper functioning.
This declaration becomes void in case of any unauthorized modifications to the product.
