Login
When the DVR boots up, in order for the user
to access the operating system’s
functions they must login via the
‘System Login’ window (see next image). There
are two user settings available, which are
‘admin’, and ‘guest’. To start off with they
have no passwords setup. The
‘Admin’ user account allows unlimited access to the
system setup and ‘Guest’ user account only allows the preview and playback
functions to be used. User can modify the password of Admin and Guest, but
cannot modify the authority of them.
Login
Password protection:
If the password is continuously wrong three times, the
alarm will start. If the password is continuously wrong five times, the account will be
locked. (By rebooting the DVR after 30mins after being locked out, it will
automatically allow access to the system login). To prevent this from happening,
please revise and remember user name and password before logging back into the
system.
