User Manual

2. General Description

The QM1013-101 is a 0.001-6 GHz Single Channel Upconverter housed in a 1U box. The QM1013-101 is
controlled either through the onboard USB or TCP/IP connection. The QM1013-101 delivery kit contains
a user manual, power supply, and USB A-

B cable. A model of the QM1013-101 is shown below in Fig.

QM1013-101 0.001-6 GHz Single Channel Upconverter system

The QM1013-101 0.001-6 GHz Single Channel Upconverter has been equipped with Option -101, which
adds Local Oscillator (LO) sources, making the QM1013-101 a self contained system, requiring only the
externally applied IF signal for proper operation. The Local Oscillators (LOs) in the QM1013-101 are
locked to a common internal 10 MHz reference. The user has the option of supplying their own reference
through the BNC connector located on the back panel of the QM1013-101.
