General
Ensure that the line bushings are securely fastened to prevent accidental loosening or
unfastening.
Wall thickness ≤ 8mm:
No Ex-protection.
Wall thickness 8-10mm: Install metal washer (s = 2mm) between bush and enclosure
side wall.
Wall thickness ≥ 10mm:
No additional precautions required.
The connection of the cables of the line bushings must be connected in enclosures that
comply with a standardised type of protection in accordance with IEC/EN 60079-0.
Tighten the threaded line bushing with and without gasket by hand.
Installation:
Enclosures used for connections must comply with IEC/EN 60079-0, section 14.2 and
14.4. For Ex e enclosures of type increased safety protection, at least IP 54 protection
class must be ensured.
Technical data information that is not accessible via the labelling of the line bushings or
batch numbers is included in the delivery note/shipping documents.
The maximum current, maximum enclosure temperature and maximum ambient
temperature can be taken from the part number description and must not be exceeded or
decreased.
