Drum Drive Belt Adjustment

Check belt drive every 6 months.  

If hose does not retract, belt may be ‘slipping’. Tension on belt is adjusted by 

moving motor forwards to tighten or backwards to loosen.

Tools needed:

 

G-Clamp, Screwdriver, 10mm Ratchet

1. 

Disconnect Anderson Plug at rear of the hose reel.

2. 

Remove the self guide guard by removing the 4xM6 bolts (2 at 

either end) (A)

3. 

Remove the front cover by removing the 6xM6 bolts (B)

4. 

Loosen 4xM6x20 bolts (C) on the RH side of the motor mount. Do 

not remove completely.
