Cable Adjustment (fig.4.12)
note : Do not use lubricants on the components or
assembly.
Loosen the jam nut (A). •
Rotate the cable adjuster (B) until slack is removed •
from the cable. Make sure the plunger pin can fully
extend and retract after adjustment and that pins
engage the rocker when triggers are released.
Tighten jam nut (A). •

Angle Adjustment (fig.4.13)
Loosen rear bolt (C). •
Loosen and remove angle adjustment bolt (D). •
Set backrest at desired angle using pre-set holes. •
Replace and tighten the angle adjustment bolt (D). •
Tighten rear bolt (C). •
Repeat on other side. •
cAutIon!
The adjustment on each side of the chair should be •
exactly equal.
Use a torque setting of 14Nm (120 in.-lbs). When •
setting-up the angle adjustment of the stroller handle.
Backrest position may also need adjusting to •
maintain optimal CG alignment and stability.
Angle Adjustment of the Stroller handle (optional)
(Fig.4.14)
Depress both black push buttons (E) at the same •
time. This disengages the stroller handle and allows it
to rotate freely. Releasing the push buttons positively
locks the adjustable stroller handle in the desired
position.
height Adjustment (fig.4.14) (optional)
Remove both bolts (F) from the backrest tube (one •
on each side).
Reposition backrest height. •
Re-tighten both bolts (F) in the desired location. •

Both sides must be at the same height. •
It is not recommended to align the top hole in the •
lower tube with the bottom hole in the upper tube, as
excess play may result.

To fold the back down, pull-up the back release pins •
(G) and push the backrest forward.
To lock it back in position, lift the backrest firmly until •
it locks in its original position.
STROLLER hANDLE EXTENSION (OPTIONAL)
Installation
(Fig.4.16)
Press button (H) simultaneously on both sides of the •
stroller handle so that release pins are drawn inside
the tube.
Insert the tube into the back tube receiver (I) until the •
release pin protrudes through the receiver mounting
hole.
RECLINING bACK (OPTIONAL)
NOTE:
The dual trigger reclining mechanism is installed
by Sunrise Medical.
To Recline or Raise backrest (fig.4.17):
Depress both triggers (J) at the same time. Releasing •
the triggers positively locks the backrest in place.
To lock out the adjustment system, insert the locking •
pin (K) into the trigger holder. Always lock the dual
trigger reclining mechanism securely in place after
positioning the backrest.
