Nest Shelter

 (poled) instructions

Pitching:

 How to erect your shelter.

•  Guideline :

This instruction is a guideline on how to erect your shelter. With time and experience you may find your own way to erect your shelter, but

whatever way you erect your shelter, you should always ensure that the fabric is tight, use all pegging points and guy lines and you have enough water run
off to ensure no issues occur during use.

•  Step 1 : Preparation

First remove the shelter from the bag and separate the shelter from the pole(s) and peg(s). Place the shelter on the floor, ensuring that it is not twisted and
caught up in the guy lines as this can make it more difficult to pitch the shelter.

•  Step 2 : Peg the groundsheet.

Next move the Nest shelter into the position you want to pitch it. Then peg the groundsheet, you start at one corner then move around to each corner pulling
the groundsheet tight as you go around. Once that is pegged you can continue with the rest of the shelter

•  Step 3 : The frame.

Next put together the fibreglass poles. Then take one and slide this though the sleeve in the shelter (as shown on the image overleaf). Then put the end of the
pole into the locator pin on the bottom of the groundsheet. Repeat this for the other pole. Your Nest shelter should now be standing up.

•  Step 4 : Pegging

Before you start pegging you should ensure that all doors are zipped shut as this ensures the shelter is in the correct shape and position before pegging,
otherwise you may peg the shelter incorrectly. The groundsheet will already be pegged as this was done in step 2, so just go around the shelter pegging any
remaining pegging points and guy lines pegging them down as you go.
