General and Safety Instructions
• Please keep these instructions, the sales receipt and, if possible, the carton with the inner packaging.
• This product is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the product by a person that is
responsible for their safety.
• By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer can not be hold responsible for any damage or injury caused by the product.
• The product must be placed on a stable, level surface.
• The user must not leave the product unattended while it is in use.
• This product gets hot during use and takes time to cool down. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• During use, any area of the kettle may get hot. Be careful when handling the kettle at all times.
• Never heat an empty, overfilled or under filled kettle.
• The kettle has a whistle function you should never rely on the whistle to remind you about an unattended kettle. The whistle is a
convenience, not a safety device.
• We advise using oven mitts or similar when handling the kettle, during and after boiling.
• Do not tip kettle upside down when pouring.
• Allow the kettle to cool thoroughly before re-filling. Never re-fill a hot kettle with cold water.
• When used on gas hobs the handle can get hot. Either leave the kettle for 30 seconds before pouring
water or wear oven mitts or similar when handling.
• Never leave the kettle to boil unattended as it could boil dry, which could lead to damage or fire.
• When used on gas or any real flame, ensure that the kettle is placed directly over the flame and that
the kettle is at least the same size as the hob otherwise the flame could rise up the side of the kettle
and cause damage.
