Class 12 is the default set when the module works at data translation mode, the module can also
work at class 10 and class 8 which are configurable through AT command.
5.6 Electro-static discharge
Although the GSM engine is generally protected against Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), ESD
protection precautions should still be emphasized. Proper ESD handing and packaging procedures
must be applied throughout the processing, handing and operation of any application using a
module.
