Remove and Install
Rack Rails
To remove rack rails:
Removing and installing a chassis requires you to complete the
following procedures in the order presented:
1 Power Off the System on page 148
2 Disconnect the Cables from the System on page 151
3 Remove the Chassis from the Rack on page 155
4 Remove the Old Rack Rails and Install the New Rack Rails on
page 157
5 Install the Chassis into the Rack on page 163
6 Connect the Cables to the System on page 165
7 Verify the System is Up and Running on page 169
8 Install the Bezel on page 170
Power Off the System
To power off the system:

Using an Ethernet cable, connect a notebook computer to IPMI/BMC
port on the top canister (see Figure 153 ).

2 Access the BMC Web UI.
