Installing an Expansion Card in Riser 1
To install a replacement expansion card in riser 1:
1
Holding the card by its edges, position the card so that the card
edge connector aligns with the expansion card connector (see
Figure 62 ).

Insert the card edge connector firmly into the expansion card
connector until the card is fully seated.

Close the expansion card latches.

If applicable, connect any cables to the expansion card.

Install the expansion card riser (see Figure 61 ).

Close the Node cover (see Opening and Closing the Node ).

Turn on the system (see Turning On and Shutting Down the System
on page 21).

Run
Factory Detect Hardware
from the
Service Menu
to detect the
new hardware (see Factory Detect Hardware on page 40).
