Verifying the DXi6900-S Model
You will need to determine if the DXi system is DXi6900-S and not a DXi6900. Model information is located
on the pull-out information tag on the front of the Node (see Figure 4 below).

The DXi6900-S information tag includes "S" in the part number (see Figure 5 below).

Installing Components in the DXi6900-S Node
If the DXi6900-S shipped with additional Node components, you must install these additional components in
the Node before installing the system in the rack and turning it on (see DXi6900-S Installation Overview
).
