13. E-bike component
Your Quantum Broadway is equipped with a 350W motor and a 36V battery. The battery is
integrated into the frame. The control and display for the electric components are located beside
the left handlebar grip.
Your bike is a 'pedal assist' bicycle and the motor only works if and when you are pedaling. By
default, the limit of assistance is maxed out at 32km to keep within Canada and USA laws.
Please check the laws and regulation in the area where you will use your bicycle will be used.
To turn on the electrical system push and hold down the middle button on the display. The
display will then light up. Please allow it a few seconds to configure the system. The display
turns on without any level of assistance selected. To increase the level of assistance, press the
upper button once for each level you wish to increase. Once an increase has been selected, it
can be decreased one level at a time by pressing the bottom button on the display. Press it
once more from Level 1 and assistance will be turned off and the bicycle can be used without
electrical assistance.
Your Quantum Broadway has a 'walk assistance' function for when you are walking your
bicycle. Press and hold the down arrow (bottom button) and the display. After 3 seconds the
motor will propel the bicycle forward. Have a firm grasp of the bicycle and prepare to keep pace
