1. Make sure to lift the piece of
furniture far enough off the ground
to ensure you don’t trip over it or get
it
caught on uneven ground.
3. Do not hold your arms too high when
guiding and supporting the furniture. If your
arms are too high,
the furniture will slide on the carrying straps
and the top person’s feet will be crowded
when they reach
the top of the stairs.
2. Squat low when placing the
carrying straps below the piece of
furniture. Then, adjust the straps to
ensure appropriate ground clearance
when you stand up.
4. Take care when carrying objects up the stairs.
Keep your arms at shoulder height and close to
your body,

your hands.
5. If you do not squat low enough when
adjusting the straps, your feet will be crowded
by the furniture,
especially when going up or down stairs.
