Elastomeric isolator installation

Read the following instructions before beginning

installation:

1. Isolators are shipped fully assembled. Position in

accordance with the submittal drawings or as oth-

erwise recommended.

Set the isolators on the floor, housekeeping pad

or subbase, ensuring that all isolator lines match

the equipment mounting holes. Install the isola-

tor base (A) on a level surface. Shim or grout as

required, leveling all isolator bases to the same el-

evation. 0.03125 of an inch maximum difference

can be tolerated.

3. Bolt or anchor all isolators to the supporting struc-

ture using the base through holes (B).

4. Remove the top bolt and top washer. Place the

equipment on top of the isolators so that the

mounting holes in the equipment or base line up

with the threaded hole (C).

5. Reinstall the top bolt and washer and tighten

down.
