Security
The Security menu provides settings that prevent unauthorized use of
your phone. Before you can change any security settings, you will be
asked to enter the following codes:
• PIN code request (a SIM protection feature)
• PIN code (a protection code if your SIM is stolen. It is provided by
your network)
• PIN2 code (a protection code for charging information and FDN
service)
• PUK/PUK 2 code (unblocking codes in case you forget your PIN/
PIN2 codes)
• Phone lock (provided by the phone)

This setting allows you to enable the SIM PIN feature, protecting your SIM
card from unauthorized use. Contact your service provider for your SIM
PIN code.
