Step 1: Turn on the power to your PC and all other peripherals that are attached. Connect the
Hi-Speed USB 2.0 cable to the USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC or Card. Attach
the other end of the Hi-Speed USB. 2.0 cable to the USB 2.0 port on the back of
the Que! M3 Drive.
If you are installing the Que! M3 Drive
on a notebook PC equipped with a
USB 2.0 port. Follow the directions in
step 1, then to connect the power
a d a p t o r, attach the round adapter
plug to the power interface
connector at the back of the
Que! M3 Drive. Then,
connect the power plug to a
power outlet.
Step 2: If this is the first time you are
installing a USB 2.0 storage device,
Windows 98SE will ask you for the
Windows 98SE disc or the drive where
your drivers are located for your device.
Just insert your disc that we have supplied
to you with your kit and run the “TPPINST.EXE” file located in the “USB Drivers” folder.
If In-System Design USB 2.0 storage device drivers have been previously installed in your PC,
Windows 98SE will automatically detect and load the drivers for your Que! M3 Drive.
