card with the notch in the PCIe slot. Insert the expansion card to the PCIe
slot until it cannot go any further.

Fasten the screw to keep the expansion card in place.
iv.
Install the fan module, close the case cover, and fasten the screws. Connect
the power adaptor and cables to the NAS.

To check that the expansion card is recognized by the NAS, power up the
NAS, log into the web interface as an administrator, and go to “System
Administration”.

To install a graphics card in a Gen.3 x 8 PCIe slot (TVS-1282)
i.
Turn the NAS on its side, loosen the screw, and remove the bracket.
ii.
Grasp the edge of the graphics card. Align the notch on the gold edge of the
card with the notch in the PCIe slot. Insert the graphics card into the PCIe
slot until it cannot go any further.
