When installing memory modules, ensure the following:
1.
Install memory modules only if the corresponding processer is installed.
2.
Do not mix RDIMMs and LRDIMMs.
3.
Blue memory slots denote the first slot of a channel (A0, B0, C0 and D0).
4.
Memory modules should be populated starting farthest from the processor on
each channel.
5.
QNAP recommends installing the number of memory modules dividable by 4 at

6.
When 4 memory modules are installed, use P0-A0, P0-C0, P1-A0, and P1-C0.
7.
When 8 memory modules are installed, use P0-A0, P0-B0, P0-C0, P0-D0,
P1-A0, P1-B0, P1-C0, and P1-D0.
8.
When 12 memory modules are installed, use P0-A0, P0-B0, P0-C0, P0-D0,
P0-A1, P0-C1, P1-A0, P1-B0, P1-C0, P1-D0, P1-A1, and P1-C1.
