3 – SANsurfer HBA Install Wizard (Windows 2000/Server 2003)
Performing Diagnostics

The SANsurfer HBA Install Wizard starts automatically. If the wizard does
not start and you are running the wizard from the CD, do the following:

Select the drive where the SANsurfer Fibre Channel HBA Software CD
is located.

In the \data\files\windows directory, double-click the installation file
qlflinst.exe .
Step 6. The HBA Configuration Update dialog box displays.
Step 7. Click Diagnostics . The select HBAs to test dialog box displays (see
figure 3-14) . The QLA200 HBAs are listed by port number.

Step 8. Choose the HBAs you want to test by clicking the appropriate box in the
Select column. Click Next .
Step 9. A loopback test and a read/write buffer test are run on the selected HBAs.
The results are displayed
(see figure 3-15) .
