2.4 Connection and Operation
▷ Connect the water connection with the water inlet
▷ Unwind the hose to the intended length and connect the plug nipple to the brush
▷ Hang up the hose into the intended loops at the telescope rod.
▷ Open the water tap and, afterwards, the shut-off valve
2.5 Operation of the TDS Measuring Device
▷ Displays the saturation of the mix-bed resin in the bottle
▷ Switch in the device with the power button for measuring
▷ It automatically switches off after 10 minutes
▷ The device measures in ppm which is nearly the double of µS (the usually measu -
ring method usually applied for QLEEN products)
▷ For glass and solar, an replacement of the mix-bed resin is recommended at
about 25 ppm. Higher values may apply for facades and other surfaces.
▷ If the display starts to fade, the batteries must be exchanged
▷ Unfasten the measuring device from the strap, remove the three bolts at the rear
cover and replace the two coin cells (LR44/AG13/357). Close the lid and screw it
again.
2.6 Disassembly
▷ Shut the water tap after use and open the shut-off valve so that the water can run
off.
CAUTION
When the water tap is shut while the shut-off valve remains shut, too, there is still
pressure in the bottle. Open the shut-off valve and let the water run off. Remove the
Gardena connections only after no water emerges from the hose outlet of the pole!
