JUMPERS AND ADJUSTMENTS: 

The 6PTM2 module has one jumper and two adjustments that are used to enable and adjust 
the internally generated RTS (or PTT), as follows: 

Jumper E1  

Out =   

RTS controlled by the A or B port’s RTS input signal. 

Jumper E1 

In    =   

RTS controlled by the data being transmitted (XDN) 

R4 potentiometer 

 

Used to adjust the locally generated RTS duration time, 
up to 1000 msecs., from the start of the first bit if the 
message being transmitted. 

R2 potentiometer 

 

Used to adjust the RTS turn off delay time, measured 
from the end of the last bit of the transmitted message.
