Using 6-Channel Audio
The mainboard is equipped with Realtek VT1616 chip, which provides support for 6-channel
audio output, including 2 Front, 2 Rear, 1 Center and 1 Subwoofer channel. The section will
tell you how to install and use 6-channel audio function on the board.
Installing the Audio Driver
You need to install the driver for Realtek VT1616 chip to function properly before you can get
access to 6-channel audio operations. Follow the procedures described below to install the
drivers for different operating systems.
1. Insert the companion CD into the CD-ROM drive. The setup screen will automati-
cally appear.
2. Select the Sound Driver.

To perform multichannel audio operation, connect multiple speakers to the system.
