Entering the Location Information
The location is where the Remote Recorder and Modem are physically located.
Each remote location is setup in Modem Polling Locations Panel screen. To enter
the information for each remote location:

Name
Select the Group
that the location
belongs to from
Dropdown box
Enter the tele-
phone number
and any extension
needed at the
remote location.

• Open Modem Polling Control Panel
• Click on the LOCATIONS tab to
display the Polling Locations Form.
• Click
the
NEW
LOCATION button
at the bottom of the form.
• Type in a name for the location.
• Select the group from which the
location is a member in the
pull-down menu.
• Enter the phone number to be
dialed to retrieve punch records
from this location. Include “1” +
the area code for a long distance
call and/or “9,” if dialing from a
PBX system.
• Enter an extension number in
the EXTENSION box if dialing a
location that is connected to an
extension, otherwise leave blank.
• Click the OK box at the bottom of
the form.
