Press the red TARGET button on the handle, the detector comes into the
no-motion mode. Only if it approaches metal, the detector will respond.

Let a 25¢ coin approach the search coil slowly, when it’s about 5 inches from
the centre of the search coil, the unit will sound a continuous long tone, and the
pointer will swing.(Fig 18)

Keep the coin stable. Release the red TARGET button, after one or two
seconds, press the red TARGET button again, the unit’s sensitivity reduces.
Although the location of the coin isn’t changed, the unit won’t sound a tone.
Let the coin approach the centre of the search coil again, the unit will respond
with a long tone.

Repeat the above steps, and reduce the height of the coin time after time until
it’s close to the centre of the search coil.

electromagnetic fields, the detector sensitivity and location of discrimination will
be changed. You should practice time after time and accumulate the experience to

Field Operation
Metal detector is used outdoors. There is too much metal interferance indoors,
and also all kinds of electrical equipment that will cause interfering signals, so it’s not
fit for using the detector.
Field detection is more complicated, the composition of the regional soil,the
component, size, shape and the oxidation degree of the underground metals will all
affect the detection results. This chapter is only the general steps of the field detection.
The operator should practice time after time and accumulate experience to achieve
good results.
1. Turn on
Rotate the VOLUME knob to the right side, switch on the power supply, the
detector will sound a ’’DI’’ tone.

Set mode
In general ,the operator should set the mode switch to the ALL METAL. At this
