3. PROBLEM SOLVING
WARNING:
Before any operation, disconnect the unit from the mains.
PROBLEMS
POSSIBLE REASONS
SOLUTION
Pump will not start
1. Voltage too low
2. Impeller blocked
3. Winding burnt out
4. Capacitor damaged
5. Phase failure (in three-phase motors)
6. Excessive cable resistance
1. Set the voltage to ±15% of nominal
voltage.
2. Unlock
3. Repair motor winding
4. Replace the capacitor
5. Check switch, cable, etc.
6. Use cable of appropriate cross-section
The flow rate is very
low
1. Too much head for pump
2. Filter screen clogged
3. Worn impeller
4. Low pump submergence
5. Rotating backwards (three phase
motors)
1. Decrease the height
2. Clean the filter
3. Replace impeller
4. Submerge the pump at least 0,5 m (0,5 ft).
5. Replace two of the phases
The pump suddenly
stops
1. Differential jump
2. Impeller locked
3. Winding burnt out
1. Check the power supply
2. Disconnect and remove obstacles
3. Take for repair (qualified technician)
4. FUNCTIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS
The drainage pumps of the Model V series will be your ideal drainage assistant. The letter “V” indicates
the distinctive design of the filter and the wide area of high efficiency.
It can work safely and efficiently at high ux with the full-head function. The design is designed for a
wide tunnel which helps to convey the liquid or solid whose diameter does not exceed 35 mm. The
selection of bottom suction structure, stainless steel and special cast iron made the pump have the
capability of full drainage and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion.
The oatmeal switch can automatically control on and off with the change of liquor level. The protector
on the motor can automatically cut off the power when it overheats or has excessive current, thus
ensuring the safety and reliability of the pump operation even in the atrocious environment.
