2. PROBLEM SOLVING
Check the table from time to time. It can offer you some solutions to problems during operation
and during operation and maintenance, thus saving your time and money.
Problem

The pump works but does not
pump out water.
A. The suction grille is clogged.
B. Impeller is clogged or damaged.
C. More head is required than
indicated by the pump.
A. Clean the filter.
B. Replace impeller
Pump does not start and stop
according to the change of
water level.
The level switch cannot move
freely.
Make sure that the level switch
swings freely and adjust the
cable length through the slot.
The flow rate is inadequate.
A. The suction grille is clogged.
B. Impeller or discharge tube is
clogged.
Clean clogged parts.
The pump does not work.
A. Check float switch oscilla-
tions.
B. Verify that the plug and soc-
ket connections are good.
Make sure that the level switch
swings freely and adjust the
cable length through the slot.
The pump stops with the float
switch on after working for a
short time.
The pump stops automatically
when the thermal protector is
switched on.
Check if the temperature or
density of the liquid is too high
to cause overheating.
