with certain permissions.
6.1 Logging in to the controller in the local
network
If the controller and PC are connected to local network and the network
address settings are configured correctly, PxDesigner application will
automatically search for the driver. When connecting application with the
driver, will be required to entry the username and password.
6.2 Remote logging (external network)
The controller allows you to log in to the device from an external network
via the internet, for this purpose it should be:
•
have an external IP address on the router assigned by the internet
provider and be able to establish connection from outside (incoming
packets are not blocked by the provider’s and router’s firewall)
•
redirect appropriate ports / port to the IP address of the controller
working in the local network (so-called forwarding port):
◦
50000 and 50001 for the PxDesigner application
•
unblock selected port in the router’s firewall
•
the address of the driver / drivers in the local network can not change
(the driver must have a static IP address set or the DHCP server must
assign the same addresses to the same devices each time)
