Install the spring in the air cylinder (18).

Put the piston-rod assembly in the air cylinder (3).

Hold the air cylinder (3) in one hand and pull down on the rod (8) until the 
piston (4) is below the edge of the air cylinder. 

 

19.

 

Put the air cylinder O-ring (19) on your finger and apply grease to. Squeeze the 
O-ring between two fingers to coat the O-ring with grease.
