Cleaning
1. Clean the tap nozzle using disinfectants like bleach/hypochlorite (50 PPM available
chlorine). Discard 2 litres of water after cleaning the dispenser.
2. Clean the external portion of the purifier using a dry cloth only. Do not use any
detergent or soap.
3. Do not clean aggressively or rub the surface or the LED display as this might lead to
scratches on the parts.
4. Never splash water on the purifier while cleaning.
5. Do not try to open the purifier for cleaning or for any replacements. This can be done
only by a qualified company personnel or an authorised agent.
6. You should maintain good hygiene in the area around your water purifier. Ensure that
this area is free of ants/insects/other pests.
7. Do take care of the reject line and other tubes while cleaning the purifier else water can
flow into the kitchen.
Storage Tank
1. Discard the water in the Storage Tank once in 15 days through the tap.
2. Always drain the water in the Storage Tank if you have not used the purifier for more
than 2 days.
Other Important Instructions
1. When you are away / during over-head tank cleaning always ensure to switch off the
electrical power and the ball valve.
2. Do not put any heavy or sharp objects on the purifier.
3. Please dispose the used consumables like Sediment Filters, Carbon Filters and
Membranes along with the other household waste through the municipal disposal
system.
4. Please switch off the device when there is no water supply.
Disposal Guidelines (Electrical): To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled
waste disposal, please separate electrical items in this product such as power supply adaptor, control circuits, LED
panel and wiring from other types of waste and recycle them responsibly to promote sustainable use of material
resources. Contact either the retailer where you purchased this product or local government office for details of
where and how these items can be taken for environmentally-safe recycling.
CAUTION
1. Take a clean bowl and immerse fruits & vegetables in it with 2 - 3 L
of RO water.
2. Push the Fruit & Veg Purifier door to open it, gently pull out the
diffuser along with tube from the horizontal wall & unwind the tube.
3. Position the tube in the centre of the bowl. Ensure that the tube is
completely immersed in water. For best results, do not put more
than 300 grams of fruits and vegetables.
4. Press the Fruit & Veg Purifier button for ~2 seconds to start. The Fruit
& Veg Purifier indication LED will start blinking green with one buzzer
sound. With this the tube will start bubbling in the water.
5. After approx. 5 minutes, the bubbling will stop and beep sound will
be heard once the purification process is complete.
6. Shake the tube to remove all the water. Discard the water in the bowl.
(Unfit for drinking/anything else)
7. Rinse the fruits & vegetables twice with Fresh water.
8. Post 3 consecutive cycles of approx. 5 minutes, the fruit & Veg Purifier
can be used again after approx. 15 minutes.
9. Always maintain the tube clean and dry when not in use.
10. Re-wind the tube on the diffuser till the end of the tube such that it is
easy to dock the diffuser on the horizontal wall.
11. When you switch ON Fruit & Veg Purifier Button, if you don't see any
bubbles, then contact Pureit customer care No.1860 210 1000.
12. If Fruit & Veg Purifier indicator light is off then it is in waiting period. During the waiting
period, usage of Fruit & Veg Purifier is not allowed. Fruit & Veg Purifier will be allowed to
use once the indicator turns green.
• Use only RO water for cleaning fruits and vegetables.
• We recommend to cover the bowl with a lid when Fruit & Veg Purifier is in use.
• The recommended container with lid for using with Fruit & Veg Purifier is available at
an additional cost and can be purchased by calling the Pureit helpline.
• Do not operate the Fruit & Veg Purifier in the presence of children, elderly and people with respiratory
infection / other respiratory conditions.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 feet from bowl when operating the Fruit & Veg Purifier.
• Use the device only in well-ventilated area. Direct inhalation from Fruit & Veg Purifier tube can be harmful.
If irritation or discomfort is experienced, switch OFF the device and increase room ventilation.
Contact 1800-210-1000 to report the event and do not use the device again until further instructions.
• In case of device malfunction or if the Fruit & Veg Purifier does not stop bubbling even after the purification is
complete, switch OFF the power supply and call the Pureit helpline.
• Do not use the Fruit & Veg Purifier for washing other types of food (eg. Meat) or other non-food products.
• After cleaning of fruits and vegetables discard the water in the bowl.
• Do not pull the Fruit & Veg Purifier tube hard as it can damage it.
• If there is any power failure, the Fruit & Veg Purifier will stop automatically and it needs to be re-started manually.
• If for any reason Fruit & Veg Purifier does not stop after beep sound, switch OFF the power and call Pureit
helpline. Do not use the purifier until further instructions.
• Do not drop the Fruit & Veg Purifier Tube on the floor, it can damage the internal components and affect
performance.
• Ensure that the Fruit & Veg Purifier tube is not pinched, bubbles will not be seen if the tube is pinched.
• Do not take the Fruit & Veg Purifier tube close to or inside your mouth while in operation.
• Follow all instructions mentioned on the labels that are on the device.
