LCD screen
The LCD screen features a 16 x 2 character display and row of
information icons along the top. The following diagram show the icons
and lists their meanings.
Volume indicator shows volume level from off ( ) to full (
).
Battery indicator shows battery power from full (
)
to none (
).
Clock shows the time taken from the currently selected multiplex.
Favourites indicator shows that station order is set to favourites mode.
Eq indicator represents currently selected equalisation setting.
Signal indicator shows signal strength from none ( ) to full (
).
If using batteries a backlight operates on the LCD for a short period
after you press a button then turns off to preserve battery power.
You can alter the backlight time out period and the text and symbol
display contrast, see page 16 for details.
