IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
OPERATION
•
The mixer is designed to balance the input from 8 line inputs and adjust the outputs
volume to a recording device or amplifier.
Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain for future reference.
•
With the power turned off and all level controls turned to minimum, connect up to four
line level inputs to the input jack sockets on each channel.
•
Connect the outputs to the amplifier or the recording device using suitable cables.
•
Turn the power on and the LED will light.
•
Set the master volume to about half way on each channel and adjust each input level
as required.
•
When the balance is as required, adjust the master volume on each channel to suit
the input of the sound system or recording device.
•
The peak LEDs should flash briefly on maximum level but not remain lit.
•
If the peak LED lights for longer, reduce the master volume.
•
When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always be followed.
•
Do not expose the units to moisture or dust and excessive temperatures.
•
The mixer can be powered either by a 9V PP3 type battery or a 12VDC 200mA PSU
(not supplied).

Remove the two screws on the battery cover on the base of the mixer, and remove
the cover.
•
Connect the wiring connector to the battery observing the correct polarity.
•
Insert the battery into the compartment and replace the cover and screws.
MAINTENANCE
SPECIFICATIONS

Clean the outside casing with a soft cloth lightly moistened with mild soap and water.
Never use any abrasive or solvents.
