Run FlowPulse PC (do not click connect), go to System menu and 
select Bootloader Control

On the FlowPulse Bootloader window, select the Com Port number and 
click Connect

Click “

Load Hex File

” and choose the relevant firmware file for the 

Handheld. 

11.

 

Click “

Erase-Program-Verify

”, and wait for completion when a 

“

Verification Successful

” message will be displayed, then click “

Run 

Firmware

”

 

12.

 

Disconnect serial lead and then reassemble the unit and screws 
ensuring that all rubber washers or seals are in place 

13.

 

Power-up the unit and press 

F4

→

Device Info

 to verify the new 

firmware version number is correct. 

 
 

 

Important Information 

If the upgrade procedure is no longer required, press, and hold the Power 
button to power-down.  Never leave the unit in Bootloader mode as this will 
over-discharge the battery.
